Het Spaanse Air Europa en Boeing maken vandaag bekent dat de maatschappij 14 Dreamliners bestelt. Het gaat om de 787-9 variant. De vliegtuigen stonden al in de boeken, maar als ongeïdentificeerde klant. Air Europa heeft nu in totaal 22 Dreamliners in bestelling, 787-8 en 787-9. De maatschappij wil de hele long haul vloot van Boeing kisten hebben. Air Europa maakte dit zojuist op een persconferentie in Madrid bekend. De vorige bestelling van 8 787-8 toestellen stamt uit 2007. Ook toen was de order eerst niet gelinkt aan een klant en in januari 2008 bekend gemaakt.
